Barcelona, the home of art and architecture, this vibrant and bustling city is the cosmopolitan capital of Spain. With so much to offer, it is easy to see why it is one of Europe’s most popular tourist destinations. I’m a big fan of any destination with a warm ocean, but the contrast of the beach in a built-up city gives it a unique and energetic soul.
Barcelona has a rich cultural heritage, was founded as a Roman city in the Middle Ages and has since become the fastest growing European city. A trip to Barcelona would not be complete without visiting a few of Gaudi’s masterpieces. I had the privilege of visiting four of Gaudi’s artworks. The Park Güell, Sagrada Familia, Casa Milà and Casa Batlló.
