Refund Policy

Customers are able to exchange items within 10 days. If 10 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you an exchange.

We do not offer refunds, only an exchange or store credit.

If you wish to exchange the item(s) please email within 5 days from receiving the product. Our policy states that item(s) must be returned to our address within 10 days of receiving goods & all returns are at customers own cost.

Please state your name, phone number, address, & order number in your email. We will reply confirming receipt of your email.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unworn and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with the Mieke Ola swing tag on.

No makeup transfer or stain of any kind to be on the item. Please take good care to avoid the transfer of make-up onto an item when trying it on.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned.

  • All hats
  • All Sale Items
  • All Swimwear


Please note the reason we cannot exchange or give you a credit note on any grooming products, jewellery or swimwear is for health and hygiene reasons.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be returned, unfortunately, sale items cannot be exchanged.


We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at and send your item to 167 Buitenkant Street, Gardens  Cape Town, 8001


If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.


To return your product, you should mail your product to 7 Queen Road Cape Town Western Cape ZA 7700. Courier service must contact 0847905042 before delivery.

Goods sent to the post office will not be collected.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Mieke Ola is not responsible for any shipping charges that may occur from a return. Shipping charges for returning any item(s) will be at the customer’s own cost.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

Please always use a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
