If you know me, you know that lying around in a bikini and dancing all night are some of my favourite things to do which made Ibiza the best destination to go to escape the South African winter.  There is an incredible energy on the island that is indescribable and has you wanting to stay forever.

I would describe Ibiza style as laidback but sophisticated beachwear. Wear a trendy bikini with a sheer throw-over dress or kimono and you are ready to go. Don’t feel like you have to go on a shopping spree before packing for your trip to Ibiza, the island is full of gorgeous boutiques. I found this sheer dress when I stumbled upon a tiny boutique on Cala Bassa Beach. It has become one of my favourite Ibiza pieces.

There is so much to do in Ibiza. Crossing everything off the list in just one visit is hard. If you are a music-lover like me, you will want to spend your days at Blue Marlin and your nights at Pacha. Of course, you need to take a few days off to recharge. One of the best spots to lounge around and grab a delicious lunch has to be Amante Beach Club.

An Ibiza trip would not be complete without experiencing Lio’s. Situated on the edge of the Mediterranean Sea, overlooking the lights of Ibiza Old Town, the amazing cabaret took place. The show takes you to another world for the night with acts that are astounding. Lio’s has to be the highlight of my trip!
