Earlier this year I had the unbelievable experience of skiing in Livigno, Italy. It was only the second time I have gone skiing, and I won’t lie my tummy was filled with butterflies as we rode the cable car up to our first slope. After quite a few wipeouts in the morning, I finally got the hang of it and was skiing down red slopes by the afternoon. It is incredible how fast you progress once you get it. What an incredible feeling it is, flying down the slopes!
Livigno is a ski resort in the Italian Alps. It’s such a picturesque little village, like something out of a fairytale. We were super lucky with the weather conditions on one of my favourite days out. We started on a blue slope to warm up while snow started falling, I have never seen or felt so much snowfall, it was magical! As we made our way down the piste through the snow-capped treetops, the skies cleared and the sun came out to show off the most beautiful view. It was so much like a painting. I had to blink to make sure it wasn’t a dream.
