I’m a big fan of leather jackets, and they are always a staple when packing for my travels. While shopping the other day, I spotted this gorgeous red suede jacket and decided to take a risk and go for it! Although it’s a statement piece, surprisingly it has become one of my most worn items in my closet. Here are some tips on how you can rock a statement jacket.
Let the jacket do the talking. Make sure you pair your jacket with classic, simple silhouettes, you don’t want your outfit to look too busy. Stick to neutrals and let the jacket be the pop of colour. Think white, black cream or beige for your other garments. For this look, I opted for a simple black top with a frill detail hem, plaid pants and classic pointed toe heels. To add the last touch to complete the look I wore my new favourite del Coursy pieces, the Carnaby Cut Hoops and Woodstock Bracelet.
